Well after two nights of nesting, and taking her temperture every hour.. Karma gave birth to her first litter on April 25, 2008 at 11:00 PM the first puppy .. A GIRL!! who came into this world making lots of noise! Miss Pinkie came into this world weighing in at a nice 1 lb... following her were 4 brothers.. after a brief respite .. labor picked back up, and our sixth puppy a girl came into the world, but did not make it, number seven, another girl, orange girl.. number 8 another girl, did not make it.. labor had been pretty intense.. and knowing we may have a ninth puppy we rushed to the vet for an x-ray and sure enough one was hiding as we had thought... after a car ride home in which I cried all the way home.. tired, stinky, hungry and most important.. not wanting to have another puppy pass that didn't make it through the birthing process.. well our little girl...

"Danucci"......visit www.Danucci.com I am soooooooooooo looking forward to purchasing goodies from these Irish Chocoloates and Buttercrunch makers!! All pups weighed in at 1 lb.. very very healthy and Karma is a NATURAL mommy.. cleaning them up right away, joining in the motherhood club like she had been there before..... so after being up for 48 hours and birthing these pups, I got to rest my eyes every so often as my bed was directly next to Karma and her babies... Lots pictures will be added to this page.. the pups have well qualified and wonderful homes. I do not take bringing them into this world nor placing them lightly.. lots of research, and work go into bringing a litter of this quality forward... I wouldn't have done it any other way.. my life has been on hold, but the priority has been Karma and her babies... enjoy the pictures, and the stories I will be adding know that my brain is clearer, and I am getting more sleep...  Morsels The litter is now 4 months old, everyone has been placed in their forever homes..and doing very well. It is amazing to hear how much alike they are in many ways, yet each does has his or her own very distinct personality. What I am most proud of in this litter is that each pup is proving to be a wonderful family member, very very quick to learn, very loving and laid back, yet with a wonderful sense of play as true of Labrador temperment!
