All About D'Ellia's Canine Care & Gifts
Canine Care Provider & Trainer
I opened D'Ellia's Canine Care & Gifts in 2004 when I became an
Independent Contractor for a local kennel and needed to develop a business structure.
With over thirty years of pet owning, pet fostering and training experience,
as well as Kennel Management experience, I wanted to offer pet care services
to pamper the pets of owners that were away on business trips, vacation trips or
who needed a daily playtime visit, as well as help pet parents with the training of
pets to help pets become better family members.
My dogs and I attend regular training classes, three of my canine family members
have earned their AKC certified Canine Good Citizens, and Therapy Dog International Inc, certification,
and are working Certified Therapy Dogs with Hospice Support Care, Inc. of Fredericksburg.
The dogs work with children that have lost a loved one, Caragh, Gus and Casey attend the children and teen support groups for the children to read to them, or just listen to the children share stories about their special family or friend that has gone to heaven.
Gus passed his CGC test on January 9, 2006
TDI certification on March 19, 2006.
Casey passed her CGC test on March 16, 2006
TDI certification on May 7,2006 and has earned his Rally Novice title.
Caragh passed her CGC test on May 12, 2007,
TDI in April 2008, and has earned her Rally Novice title.

My dogs and I continue to volunteer at Assisted Living Facilities in the community, as well as participate in other community events where we can volunteer. Our other community involvement includes VCU Dogs On Call program.

as a child & continued into adulthood, this is how I came up with my business name... D’Ellia’s,
A combination of my maiden & married names, "D’Olympio & Ellia".
I have been providing superior personal pet care services for the past four years,in the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania communities It has come to my attention that many pet owners search extensively to find “just the right” kennel or pet care provider for their beloved family pet. I believe that I can be the “right” person to take care of and pamper your pet on a daily basis or during an extended period of time.
I do provide references, and I am fully insured.
I am certified in Pet First Aid through the American Red Cross.
